Advertising on Total France
If you want to publicise an event, product, item, service, or business, then there are a number of options open to you on Total France.
The following categories and guidelines should help you with planning a strategy.
Non-Commercial Event:
You can publicise a non-commercial event in the Forum. Please bear in mind that the Forum is for non-commercial postings that have an informational content, so for events such as local festivities, parties, get-togethers, away-days, theatre performances, etc., the Forum is ideal. We do not allow blatant, direct, or 'hard' commercial advertising in the TotalFrance forum.
Commercial Product, Service, Business, House or Item for Sale or Rent.
If you want to promote a house sale, product, service, business or item with a commercial dimension, then there are three levels of exposure from which you can select.
Level 1: You can place an ad in the Classified section of TotalFrance by clicking here. Classified ads are free*, and can be edited and renewed at your convenience. To make your ad more visible, you should emphasise it by attaching up to 3 photos.
Commercial advertisers using the Classified Ads to offer their trade or service are automatically entered into the Total France Trade Directory.
* NB Classified advertisers with their own web site are reminded that a link back to Total France is requested - both as a courtesy and as a condition of receiving free exposure from TotalFrance - from all advertisers who take advantage of our free advertising. See link details below.
Level 2: You can take advantage of the increased publicity and exposure that goes with authoring a factsheet on your own specialist subject. You can check out the factsheet section by clicking here, in order to get an idea of the format and content used by others. Any suggestions you have for potential factsheet titles should be sent to 'suggestions' (see contact page for details).
Level 3: You can run a banner or button advertising campaign to publicise a service, brand, idea, house sale, product ... or anything you like.
This level of advertising provides you with the widest exposure on Total France and has the added advantage of greater artistic possibilities. An advertising banner or button can be as eye-catching as you want to make it, and can include your logos or corporate images. The intensity of your banner advertising on Total France can, within boundaries, be tailored to your budget.
Banners are generally charged for at a set rate per 1000 displays, although discounts and special deals may be available depending on your requirements, banner size and banner placement.
Alternatively, you may wish to sponsor a section of Total France, relevant to your business.
