Have a Mitsubishi Pajero which if I say so is in very good condition, and has done the Poole to Brittany journey many times. Up until last month I had breakdown cover for Europe, which I use to buy for a single trip, then I decided to buy annually. Now I have been told that my vehicle is too old to cover for breakdown in Europe. 1991 (J) Registration.

Can anyone recommend a company that will cover vehicles over 16 years, which seems to be the knock off time. Single trip or annually.

Thanks. Chris

Try 'Morethan' I did not see any age limit in policy book, the annual cover charge is reasonable, however you do need a UK home address.

I find this site very useful:

I did a quick dummy check and it came up with 2 companies which would cover 1991 car in Europe. One with an annual premium of around £75 and the other £100. However, you will need to read the policy details to make sure it is the cover you require.
