|

Hi,
Does anybody know anything about this? The local Tourist information office doesn't know, but I have been told that there is a sign up in the airport. (And, yes, I've checked on the airport site and the bus site, but without success). Any more info would be much appreciated.

According to this site there is no bus that goes all the way, though if you're prepared for a bit of a walk at the end you may get close (ish):

I'm afraid it's no great surprise - I've never seen a bus at Bergerac airport, and the Bordeaux bus is only once every 45 minutes - hardly encourages you to use it...

That's quite a long walk.. the airport is quite remote without a car or taxi..

Actually, there IS a bus from Limoges Station (it's up on the Departure board). It's the Number 6 and you'll find the timetable here:
http://www.equival87.fr/doc_ligne/ligne06.pdf
The downside is that most days it doesn't leave till 1810 (passing through the middle of town at 1820).
On Wednesdays and Saturdays it leaves at 1215, passing the airport at 1232.
In the morning the incoming bus arrives at the airport at about 0715 from St Barbant having passed through a number of small towns north of Limoges.
The bus stop is on the main road about 150 metres from check-in.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Fredo will look at the website but sounds like it still might have to be a taxi at 20 euros each way!!!

Today they are bussing from Limoges to Bergerac, this is because Limoges airport is fogged in.
Time they started using Soullac & Rodez for winter flights.
