Do you want to publicise your gÎte, chambre d'hôte, property, or business service with a professional and attractive web site?
This 'Web Services' section was started in response to requests and suggestions from within the membership of Total France.
Administrators of Total France have been in the business of building web sites since 1997, and the suggestion was made that we might organise some discounted web services specifically for TF members. In addition to offering them discounted fees, such services would have the advantage of providing them with a 'known' web-building team, rather than have them face the uncertainty of browsing the Internet in search of one.
Members we spoke to were in three groups:
1. In need of only a simple web site. Some TF members were uncertain of just what was involved in establishing a new web site, and were afraid of making costly mistakes. They felt they would benefit from a simple, clearly defined and all-inclusive web site package, where all of the technicalities were handled for them. Option 1, below, is for them.
2. In need of a more complex web site. Some TF members were without a web site, but felt that their needs would not be met with a simple package. They felt that the needs of their business or product dictated a more complex design, perhaps with product lists, database connectivity or controlled access. Option 2, below, is for them.
3. Wishing to improve existing sites. Some other members, those with existing web sites, were unsure whether they were paying too much for web hosting (web space rental), or for the updating of their web pages, or for the general maintenance of their sites. Some felt that their pages needed supplementing, or re-designing, to attract a wider audience. Option 2, below, is for them.
Option 1
We created the 'Web Start' package specifically for those TF members new to web sites, and with uncomplicated web site needs. The idea was to provide an all-inclusive service that could take care of building an information-based web site on their behalf.
Members who require more complex sites, or those with existing web sites in need of change, should see Option 2.

Option 2
Members interested in more complex web sites than the 'Web Start' package provides (i.e. more than 6 pages, or based on more than the simple presentation of information), highly-customised sites, additions to existing sites, cheaper hosting, or re-designs, should look at our normal services, with costs specifically discounted for TF members.
For those with existing sites, we offer a range of money-saving services specifically for TF members. For example, if you are paying too much rent for your current web space, then we can move it somewhere much cheaper. Typically we find that people are paying too much for web hosting - prices from £80 - £250 per annum are not uncommon. We move our clients to quality hosting space that costs less than £20 per annum!
